I had tried to get ingame money from someone by saying I'd buy them a rank, not knowing it was against rules, the whole chat was going back and forth in if it was right or not, I decided to get off and wait for a member of staff because the /list didn't show any on. When I tried to get on next it said I was banned for donation spamming so I went to check the forums. The person I had taken ingame money from a posted a screenshot of the incident and only that, not any of the part where I said I was going to wait for a member of staff. I asked why I was banned in forums and the staff said I should have double checked with them which is what I was planning to do the very next time. So now I'm here still banned and confused.

Yes, donation scamming is not allowed. I had done this before you had released your new rule list and once that was released the user posted the screen shot, this is why I'm confused. If the rule wasn't in use when I did it, I don't think it's fair that he posted the screenshot after there was new rules.
