Beast has been dying for a long while now and that has been a fact known to everyone no matter how much wed like to deny it. We hope for it to be fixed and we get a burst of faith for a while when we occasionally see 30 people on but really it seems its been a false hope. Lots of things have gone wrong. We play on a server where players hate the staff and the staff seems to try and get people banned. Another problem is that no matter what I put in this forum post nothing is going to be changed. I do not know if advertisements have been put out or not but either way if changes aren't made the players wont be satisfied. That's what it comes down to, the players satisfaction. If they aren't satisfied they leave, and they have. A large majority of staff on here are childish and immature though they might try to act like they are experienced enough to do what they are doing. Some lack common sense and logic and others can be just plain stupid. I don't remember thinking these thoughts two resets ago. When the server was a lot more popular. Kind of coincidental how the staff quality seems to be equal with the server quality. Do you ever notice how before a staff member becomes staff and are simply players like the rest of us they seem to be jerks and assholes who act shitty and dont care. Then once they want some power and to feel important they start kissing up to the server and the staff and eventually end up getting helper. They might seem to lose their qualities of being jerks and assholes, but they never really do. The staff is now horrible on here (aside from few exceptions) and I know nothing will be done about it so really this forum seems pointless. All I can say is Im disgusted with what this server used to be and what it is now. No further points. Please reply to this post with your opinions Ill gladly argue with any staff who seems to think what I've said has no proof or that "maturity shouldnt be based on age" I hope this server is restored to its former glory but this is a false hope with a fake ray of sunshine at the end of a dark tunnel.
I don't mean to be smart here but thanks for your "nice" words and "suggestions" so we could do better. I mean I know a lot of people hate the staff team, but atleast tell us how to be better instead of dogging us out all the time! Conal: any suggestions other than tom coming out of /v thx
Beast should fix how they ban people, because if a staff member is pvping and they think that someone is hacking they can just ban them without even discussing it with the other members of the staff, which is really stupid honestly. And the amount of new rules that don't make any sense like if a mod says leave it you leave it? And how we can't say things like "ez" or "you're bad at pvp" without being warned or muted or even banned. Like if you take "you're ez" seriously and are really offended by that then why play factions? I just don't get some of these things....

Kingsly, not all staff were like that, id like to think i wasnt a jerk before i became staff, and the likes of maha, waterfall pulse frame minion were lovely, Nick no its not the staffs fault, i think it is because of the staff team as a whole, or more specifically the leadership, like tom and the admin cole, or at least im sure he thinks he is. Maybe if they took some suggestions people wouldnt be "dogging them out all the time"

I don't know about this....I've been on this server for at least four times longer then you and I won't deny that the server needs improvement but I think some staff are very good at their job. Not all staff members are jerks before they become staff. The banning thing is a HUGE issue that DOES need to be fixed but we will work that out. I think this is a good suggestion but you are labeling all staff members as "Jerks" which is not good. I know we have lost a lot of staff and my all time favorite admins have left. Instead of just calling all staff "jerks" it would help Tom to be able to know which ones you think aren't fit for the job and why. If you ever have any suggestions I want to hear them. Just let me know.
Staff should be = to players. Some staff need to be improve, depromoted, and re-teach some few rules and what to do when certain things happen. Helper should be more helpful on their roles. I remember someone was asking for help and wanted to know if any staff is online. I did /list and saw 1 staff online that is helper but he didn't say anything and was too busy doing something else inside the server. Each staff have different roles and should carry out their roles. There should be chat monitor as well to prevent raging and quieting. This is one reason why lots of players are raging at the staff. There should be few new rules should be added to staff and few new rules to be added to players. Why? Adding new rules and staff roles update will prevent the hating in the server. Mostly a lot of players want to quite because of staff isn't doing their part of their own role. Event like in PvP, lots of player are raging that others are hacking even though they are not hacking still get ban. Minecraft PvP is glitchy a bit because everyone mouse work differently. My mouse jump everywhere on the screen causing me to aim around different. Before they should be applying for staff, test need to be added for a week or two to see if they are fit for the role of being a staff. Just because a staff is watching someone PvPing and saw something weird doesn't mean they are hacking. I saw many of this before in the forum. This is the only server I found people getting ban for PvP a lot because the staff think they are hacking. There are also few test found that they are hacking rather then shoot first and ask question later. Seeing a lot of shoot first and ask question later from the staff even though they was talking among other staff. The server is going up and down a lot because of Players found many thing they hate and are limited to the things they can do. There are also too many things added to the server making this server one big weird server to be playing in. There are also some stuff that need to be added and remove in this server. Banning shouldn't be enforce first. Talking and seeing things overview before doing anything or else everything will get out of hands.
Here's a little suggestion, GET RIDE OF THE FUCKING BULL SHIT RULES AND SHOVE THEM UP YO ASS AND REWRITE THEM SO YOU DONT GET BANNED FOR BEING FUCKING GOODN AT PVP OR FOR FUCKING WITH STAFF. Just need a secound catch my breath....... Ok seems to be better now UNBAN ALL THE PEOPLE THAT DONT HACK AND WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO FREDOM IF SPEACH ? If this post gets delete cause the staff don't like people questioning them I wouldn't be suprised. I don't think anyone has any issues with the things you're saying, it's how you're going about it dude... You need to realize the above post just makes people disregard your opinion because it's full of capital letters and swear words............
That would be a start yeah. And without the cussing. Otherwise ask yourself why would I consider it a valid opinion? Constructive criticism always carries more weight (rather than just waving your arms around and going "it's all shit") and you're more likely to get something done about the issues you're raising. You're not pointing out anything I don't know about, but it's always a question of how you address it. Tom and I have been working on fixing game issues and generally making sure that game play issues are resolved. The rules are on my list of things to discuss with him, and I'm sure they're on his list too, we can't just change them though, because the Staff need to understand how they're supposed to interpret and work to them. My opinion is we need a far more basic set of rules that is easy to follow for both Staff and Players. As I said, I'll get to it all, but I can't do it all at once. One other thing to think of is that every time I have to write a post like this, it's less time I can spend re-writing rules or fixing something. Don't get me wrong - I'm fully supportive of what you're saying and I want to make a difference to the issues you raise, I'm just not supportive of the way you're choosing to do it.
Yea what Uncle_Phil435 say. I also support your post but not the rage part you have to post out. Rules stay as it is since all server have almost the similar idea in it. Now one thing is that a lot of people are getting ban for PvP which could be false ban (one major cause of this is server lag from the client user) and other thing are "Staff" aren't taking things calm when you ask them something. (Staff need to handle things calmly rather then using *BAN* all the time) Mostly staff rage at players for not listen and something it is the player fault (75% it is player fault) (25% staff won't take things calmly). Rules can't be change but it can be alter but it is up to the server owner because he is the one who OWN the server. He can make the rules and change what he like and dislike. You can't blame everything to the staff who can't handle things nice and calm. They are the one who also in stress or not good at their job (since they don't get pay for being staff because staff is free labor). The server owner mean that he will advertise this "BEAST FACTION" server to other location as best as he can to get players to join. I know one thing that could bring in more players is to pay a famous Minecraft YouTuber to record and play in this server to bring in more players but that will be a huge lost for the server (because of many things). Tom is trying his best to bring in more players but a lot of player are dying out because of many reason not just one (staff BAN hammer). Mostly there are underage staff (meaning not an adult) who can't handle things calmly and will get stress out or make wrong choices. I saw many players get ban for PvP even though I know 65% of them don't hack at all. I know this one kid is still ban because the staff think he is using mods but I know it is a lag base on the video I saw long time ago. Don't get it a wrong idea. You can't change something that is already have been made up a LONG TIME AGO.
I appreciate the fact that you have taken the time to right this, I've thought over the ways I think the issues could be improved so next time I see you on I'll try discuss that with you.
