Flying in PVP is unfair

As Shotz said, the hitbox is the same size. Being disguised as a Bat makes no difference to your ability to hit them.

The stakes are high either way.

The flyer get hit once,falls, and dies.

The player on the ground can't run away too easily.

 

It makes it MUCH more difficult to see them, in turn making it more difficult to hit them. A little black dot flying in the night sky is hard to see.

 

There is nothing wrong with flying and disguise. I like it. They kill me, I kill them. Nothing wrong so far. My rank is Overlord and I die 12 times and win 8 times vs non-donator so there is nothing wrong with that. If you are trying to say that the kits/flying/disguise is too op then you are wrong. Was he using a kits or was he using something that me made? The kits with other stuff (fly/disguise) are weak. I made a diamond sword and enchant it since the kits sword for Overlord is weak for PvP but vs low armor then I will win with kit Overlord. Kit Overlord vs high enchant sets, I will lose.

 

I was able to sneak to someone in a different disguise when I win. Using a pig disguise and I win a fight with one hit. Its all about enchantment. Nothing to do with flying or anything else. Higher end of enchantment will win. There are no way someone can win with one hit just by flying or disguise or both without right skills. Underwater battle, above trees, or even on the ground. It is all about skills. Sneaky or not depend on how play styles they are. A bat is good for sneaky but killing everyone without not letting them knowing what happen is your fault for not knowing or using poor armor sets.

Disguise turn off when enter PvP mode. That mean if he/she hit or get hit then no more fly mode for him/her,

 

Actually I wouldn't buy fly for $100 like an idiot. I'm just telling you that I dont like fly and it gives you an advantage I get that u just want to get your server more money and its cool and all but if u were killed by some guy that is flying around and just smacks you in the face 3 times and you are dead. because most people that have fly already have OP armor/weapons. You will probably be angry about it.

 

If you hate fighting, don't fight. Just farm money, build good base, and let your army fight for you. I don't mine losing all my good gears. I lost a lot of good stuff in PvP but you don't see me yapping about it. Only few people buy fly. Not many will buy it. I wish I could get fly but it cost a lot so I don't bother buying one. It is useful for building.

So how was this change? Was about "Flying PVP" into "I AM BAN!" Today seem weird so far.

I just fought someone who use Fly. I got his/her HP 2 half hearts. I lost but I was so close too. If only that fire didn't kill me and my golden apple didn't run out, I would might win but I know she/he have golden apple too. Both players have p4 so yea

TheNinjaGaming please be appropriate and please watch your language on the forums. Also flying in Pvp makes no difference because they are not hurting you when they are flying, also flying disables once you are in combat.
