Some of you may have noticed that there is now a ban appeal form. This form can be filled out once, and is the only way we will accept appeals to be unbanned. I have now taken the decision to only allow players to view their own appeals, as there are far too many posts being created to influence members of staff opinions/judgement. All members of staff can view ban appeals, but will not (and should not) be required to comment on appeals unless it involves them or they have evidence to present. We will always continue to look at ban appeals the same way, that is, the appeal is always handled by someone the next level up, as a minimum or if it's someone who I banned, then an Admin. Never the person who created the original ban. Example: Ban appeal created > Person who banned posts any evidence > A different person reviews the ban appeal and posts a judgement. All ban appeals will be considered against the rules and the staff guides. If we have video evidence of you xraying, you will not be unbanned. If we have video evidence of you hacking, you will not be unbanned.
thank god - the amount of interruptions but kind of kills the forums activity when it comes to threads/stuff to look at.
I know what you mean, but ban appeals and player reports are about the facts rather than creating drama. [as exciting as that may be]
Like serious about the report to smith kittykat wasted 4 hours of my times looking at forums and unable to get in the server
I was wondering if this was ever going to happen. I completely agree with the form thing, in fact I suggested it once sometime around late-9.0 or early-10.
