Ideas And Possible Spark

Hey everybody! I can't believe I am actually saying this but its RyanOG1! A lot of you know me in game or may know me from other things and I am back because I see that the server is "struggling" as many people are saying and I would like to do my very best to help as this is by far my most favorite Minecraft server that I have every played on and I am sure I can say the same for Dom. I know that a lot of these forum posts don't get many views/likes but if you could maybe recommend this to a friend or someone to see so maybe Tom can see it and take my ideas into consideration. I know that the server has had a large decline since I, along with several other well-known players, have left the server. I believe that several ideas that I will state here should be used because I know what a player would like in a factions server, 1. because I am a player and 2. I left because of some big flaws with the server. First off, the server lag needs to be fixed, at times I could not even move and i checked out different servers and my lag was fine. Second, I feel that there should be a reason to keep players active, so they don't get bored, such as maybe one of the head admins playing as a player and trying to get a faction of some elite players that are still active and have the rest of the server try to gang up and take them down. So it is everybody vs. the Admin's team/faction. I know this might not be possible because the Admin's are all op but they can only be allowed to use certain commands to keep the playing field fair as possible. Third, I feel that there should be more of a challenge in raiding, such as not being able to fly in claimed land that is not yours or maybe just in enemy territory, so there could be such thing as an "unraidable base". That last point also coincides with my second point, because the admin's team could make a base for everyone to try to raid and with /fly some people would just be able to fly the wither over the bases' walls. Fourth, I feel that there should be something that everybody likes more often, such as SVP (Staff vs Player) or a drop party and with the new admin's base, it is like a constant warp raid until it is possibly raided. As you can probably tell, if you have gotten this far, that this is a long thread, so thank you for reading all of this and hopefully Tom or a higher up staff member will see this and take it into consideration.

OK, so I just tried to log onto the server and it wouldn't let me on and I'm not 100% sure what is going on because I know that Tom tried to sell the server but I'm not sure how far anything got but if everything is okay and I'm just nuts then lmk xD

 

I agree, I've been on beast for a very long time now and some of these things would make the player base higher and a reason to come on, because now there is nothing but pvp occasionally because no one builds claimed bases when they can just leave it unclaimed, etc. so nice ideas

That is a great and well thought out post! Thank you for posting so much! I like all of those ideas a ton! I'm only mod but I will see what I can do.
