Ranks in /shop

I want to make it so you can buy ranks in shop like up to overlord or god and then u lose them @ reset but the ranks you buy on the website stay forever.

btw make it crazy expensive like 3mill for overlord 3.5 for god
so its hard but possible and ik u would probably lose a little money tom but it would make everyone really happy and wanna grind and play the server more.

There is one point I'd like to bring up. The whole point of ranks is to donate for the server to keep it running and to improve it in ways. If nearly everyone started saving up for these ranks, then the server may not be able to improve, and if everyone wanted to take the cheaper way out, then the server won't stay up for long. Sure, it'll keep the people happy, but it comes down to whether you want the server up for long or not.

 

then u could add something like cheaper upgrades if u already bought it from /shop and if this happened it would attract more ppl meaning more donations. Plus all the money tom makes goes towards advertising anyway this would make it easier for ppl to join. plus the server make almost $4000 on just donations this month and that is enough to keep the server up u act like it will shut donations off permenatley but that's not the case at all

 

Cheaper upgrades was not mentioned in the original suggestion at all. Don't say it was. You mentioned it after I said all that.

If that were to be implemented I agree.

I don't know.. there are many people that would agree to buy you a rank for that amount of money. And since you cannot scam in any ways concerning donations I feel like it's good..

 

ik but ill pay someone 1.5 mill to upgrade me right now and no one will and its that would get rid of a lot of chat spam aswell and it would really attract new players like I said before

 

If I farm pigman zombie then there are no point. Just make pigman zombie grinder and you earn a lot of gold then turn it into in-game money. It is not fair if I donate while someone else didn't and get the rank just by using in-game money. So is it a good idea? Depend on how many people want to do it. I hate it but others may like it.

 

U do realize it's not a permanent rank it's only for that reset

 

I know and farming gold isn't hard as well. Easy to get rank back when farming pigman zombie by making pigman zombie farmer at the nether or using a spawner is one way to make easy fast in-game money ever. I try it once and was able to make a lot of money until someone blow it up in the nether.

 

Dude that's ok it's 3 million to get ranked up from beast to overlord it's not easy if he does it how I want
