Hello everyone.

News has no doubt spread from Tom's post earlier, that he has passed the great responsibility of caring for Beastfactions to me.

I would like to firstly thank Tom for the years of hard work he has put into running Beastfactions - without him, you would not be reading this post, nor would I be writing it. His detirmination has given us a place to play that none of us can ever permanently let go of - Please wish Tom well on his fairwell thread.

Tom - I know this hasn't been an easy decision for you to make, but I hope real life will convince you that you made the right one. From my point of view, stepping into your shoes is a daunting task as I have to meet everyones expectations.

While everyone is going to have a million questions about what happens now... I don't immediately have the answers to many of them, though I will try and cover some FAQs:

Are we going to have a reset?

No - I have no immediate plans to reset the server unless I deem it is unavoidable. The server is paid with the current host up until the 19th of December. I will plan to move the server to a different host some time before this date, so a reset will inevitably occur before this date.

Can I be Staff?

I will be making a decision in the next day or so as to how we will be recruiting staff. If you were staff before, it does not mean you will automatically be promoted - or have any higher chance. I will be re-promoting Captainyeww and Conal to Admin very shortly.

What will you change about the server?

That depends on what I feel isn't good and the feedback I get. I encourage people to post their thoughts about the servers current setup in the forums.
