It's highly likely that no one will reply to this thread because it's talking about the server's staff..
but I've started to see the quality of staff going down.
some are just not respectful and treat others in a respectful matter.
they just don't know how to be professional.
besides, their past history on the server shows that they shouldn't have become staff in the first place.
Many staff should have been taught how to read guides & not false warn/mute/ban
but they still do.
Of course, its bullshit to read the guides, I agree, but if you really wanted to do your job well, wouldn't you have read the guides?

Some should have been demoted by now.
Hell, some shouldn't have even become staff in the first place.
What staff as individual people are doing wrong:
AFKing
False warns/bans/mutes
example: muting someone before a warn, banning someone before another staff member has viewed the evidence, or warning someone when they should be muted
acting unprofessional and childish in situations
example: insulting someone when they are insulted, arguing childishly when someone claims their punishment was false (reference to the Rip Beast post, yes I am passive aggressively calling someone out)
I'm pretty sure there are more, but I just can't bring them all to mind at the moment
What staff as a team are doing wrong:
When you, as staff reply to a thread make sure that whatever posted is all your joint opinions so no one has conflicting answers that will confuse a player.
example: someone gets muted and appeals, one staff member says that the one who got muted was in the wrong while another staff members says that the staff were in the wrong
-Some staff, not all are having a few problems getting along, as I have sometimes seen. Gotta stay professional.

All read - I would like to see examples of staff members giving out false warns (report it please - with screenshots) then I can deal with that person.

Please don't just sit on your hands while you see something that's not right, then post a huge post saying everything is wrong - speak up at the time and it can be dealt with!

 

There literally needs to be a staff revamp.

I am not dealing with our head mods and admins sitting in /v, doing literally nothing. And when it comes time to a false mute/banned staff member or youtuber. They will do what they think is right for the staff team, and that is to pretend like nothing ever fucking happened.

Where the fuck is the leadership on this server, can't you guys at least moderate abusive staff members in NA time zones while he's asleep? Holy shit.... come out. Say something, your the second highest rank for a reason. Or did you get promoted because of your ontime?

 

Yeah there are actually extremely toxic moderators and very immature ones, I think there needs to be a big change with the staff.

Feel free to message any head-staff about the issue - that goes for anyone who is reading this thread and has proof / wants to report any staff who are abusing.

This is why PulseX was demoted because you guys apparently had "evidence" against him. Which was complete bullshit. But we can't say anything, heck I can't say anything about it. I can't say anything about Timo's events. Because apparently it is being disruptive to staff. Man if you have problem trusting your own staff members, you have done something wrong. Either you fucked up or your promotion system is garbage.

Anyone can sit on a computer screen the whole damn day, doesn't mean they are doing jack shit to help this server. The leadership has taken such a fucking toll that Xirthi, a helper. Is apparently posting updates for the server.


Let me give you an idea of what the problem is right now.

Phil took the server on June 29, 2016. This is what happened 4 months later. http://www.beastfactions.net/community/threads/reset.3125/. Most servers would have this post called a "changelog". Not a RESET.

 

And so much for treating players fairly when apparently disrespecting staff on a factions server is worse than cheating with radar minimap?

Then gets unbanned in less than a few weeks and gets staff.

Then you compare it to my situation? That was fucking misery you guys put me through. The server was at its climax, my faction was actually playing. And I get a fit with timo, OH NO GOD SAVE THE QUEEN... OH MY GOD BAN HIM FOREVER!!

What i'd like to see on the server is better communication between the staff team. I see that half the staff team thinks its okay to QUOTE a racial slur og homophobic slur that someone said, without any damage to the people quoting, but the other half has the brainpower to say that its just as bad, quoting it or not.

- I'd just in general like to see more communication between staff, so half the staff team doesn't have other opinions on something and the other half has another opinion.

 

Staff already knew that they screwed up and fixed it, but I still referred to it.

Ok, so we all know that I have felt bad about the staff in the past. Now, I do see that staff may be falling behind, and we may need new staff in different places, or just staff needs to have a meeting on the way they run the server. I do see where waterfall is coming from, intact I see it really well. I feel like Phil could have made some better arangements with staff, but to be honest they do, do their job quite well. I mean, Nick, even if you don't like your punishments you did wrong. End of story. However, saying hurtful things as iWaves did is completely unacceptable. I do think that some of the warns are a bit excessive but higher staff members don't go afk in /v. They are just in /v working on stuff. They always respond to me. Ontime is important, but I want someone who will help me, protect the server, and have fun. Thats it.

 

Star, this is a thread to point out mistakes I've seen staff make. I'm not trying to make them feel bad, if that's what you think the intention of the thread is. I don't think this thread is useless or should be closed because it's for the discussion of the staff (in which is an important part of the community)
Just wondering, why would you feel the thread is useless? I'd encourage every server to have a section discussing staff members because as a staff member, you see on a different level as a player.
