The hard truth is that the server is dead. It's been dead, let it go.

Tom, did you just like a post that's telling you to give up on your server? Well, if you believe it's dead and it can't be revived, just let it go. You aren't going to save a server that you don't believe in..

In all honesty I'm a bit shocked that this server has survived as long as it has, and because off your post I've given a little thought to why this server is 'crap'.

There are only two reasons that are clear too me on why this server is stagnant in terms of playerbase and revenue.

Number one is simply because of the lack of updates, faction servers are becoming out of date and less enjoyable simply to the repetitiveness of the tasks that are available i.e becoming baltop, building an huge base, inviting players to your faction.

These do not provide the attention needed for this server in order to simply survive.

In order too help recover the playerbase I'd look at other successful servers and see the achievements that they have displayed, an classic example is CosmicPvp, They've become successful due to the advertising of the server from the owner's YouTube channels and as well as the constant updates and Custom Features only available on that server, Im not saying to go ahead and copy them but simply observing the success of others can lead to your own.

Number two is the treatment of Beginners Or 'Noobs'

When an new player first logs in their given a kit and told to the usual run of the mill activities:

#Tp to wilderness

#Vote for crate keys

#Make an faction

Now I'd be suprised that an player even makes it past this stage due to the fact that the server is completely empty half the time and makes for a slightly dreary atmosphere.

However this isnt the main cause.

The main problem that i can see is simply the ranked players. They have the power to be given endgame gear simply by typing two words. Kits give the ranked players the ability to completely dominate the server due to their contribution to the servers monetary fund. That completely destroys any chance of a new playerbase as it lets them dominate the server.

To end of my 'rant' i just want to say Tom that im not trying to lecture you or put down your efforts i think you show genuine care towards this server for supplying it with the funds to run out of your own pocket and it shows the will to improve the server which is one of the most important things. As an final piece of advice I'd recommend putting the server on hold until your team or developers can find a way to attract new players to the server.

Tom, I have been thinking a lot over this topic as well. Honestly I have seen potential in Beast. Now I don't. I have spent money out of my pocket for donations to buy ranks also to help support the server. I honestly know beast and dead, and it has been for a very long time. In fact its past dead. Its more like rotting bones. I actually have had ideas for the server, and been staff on here prior. As you have switched ownerships and fucked up some of the resets in the pasts its really screwed you guys over. The decline really started in 8.0. As a new member I could kinda see it after a few months. Honestly I love the server. But one thing that you guys lack is listening to members. I just want you to know I will be willing to help you with beast whenever time is available for you and for me. I actually do have some ideas for beast and what may come for the future.

Completely restart the server.

Get a new server name.

Get a new player base.

New ranks.

New staff. Different colors for the spawn.

Start at map 1, this allows players to feel new and welcomed and everyone has a fair chance.

When you get time you honestly need to go all out on advertisements, make a savings account for the server and when you get a solid 10k in there start the new server.

Listen Tom, I've not been here longer than others. But I do not what I'm talking about. I've been playing mc for a long time and have seen servers drop and die, and rebuild and new servers be created.

Read all of this if you'd like. But my ideas would for sure help you.

Man It's been a long time since I saw this server good. I spent a total of probably 5 or 6 months in the staff team. That's a lot. I know the server's insides, and have close friendships with a lot of memberships. For a while I held on to the chance that Beast would come back, but I think it's finally the time that I see it die for good. Goodbye Beast, you've been good to be since I joined in reset 8.

The death started in late 6.0 after the money hack. 7.0 was rushed and thats what really killed everything. I'd suggest doing stuff like nolan says, he has a good head on his shoulders. Use the resource I sent u over discord, use as an incentive on the rebuilt server
