Windows 10 In Dark Places

So here is my screenshot me inside my dark no light places



I'm using windows 10 and why my minecraft make my non-torch base light up? I test it out on other OS like windows 7 and 8, it is dark :/

I'm very confuse now and I don't know if I should use torch because of windows 10 weird bug coming about this.

Lol It is too bright inside my base if I turn it up high. it suppose to be dark inside my base. no light at all and it show some light inside

 

I want to know. Is windows 10 unfair because it let you see in dark without night vision potion? Windows 10 for minecraft is the only one that is weird :/ If you try it out on other OS version like 7 and 8, it is dark but in windows 10, it is BRIGHT AS F**K. If you turn up the brightness in windows 10, it is too bright and when you turn it down, it is still bright. This is unfair and I don't know what to do. I can downgrade my version since it is lock already because of OEM

 

Doesn't matter what Windows you are on because you can change the settings in the .minecraft and change the gamma so you can see in the dark, so not unfair at all

 

Ya, MsgNinja, your gamma is probably higher than the default. Gamma increases the brightness in mine craft, letting you not require torches to see even where there's no light. If you turned your gamma up on the other devices, it'd be bright, too. To learn how to turn your gamma down/up, you can check out the many YouTube videos on this topic.

 

Wow strange. I didn't think my gamma is high. I didn't even touch it. Thanks for telling me this. Now it is fix
